Report: Houston's office
market on a roll
According to an article in the
May 11th 2007 issue of the Houston Business Journal, Houston's
office market is quite busy and "The report also found that
demand for property caused prices to increase, marking the
seventh consecutive increase for overall rental rates in all
classes."
Not listed in the article is

Houston's office market absorbed more than 2 million square feet
during the first quarter of 2007 for the second time in 12
months, according to O'Connor & Associates.
According to the Houston-based real estate consulting firm's
Houston Office Performance Update, the 2.1 million square feet
included 943,628 square feet of Class A space, with the
strongest absorption -- 270,370 square feet -- in the Park 10
sector; 984,512 square feet of Class B space, led by the
Galleria sector's 340,466 square feet absorbed; and 171,944
square feet of Class C space. Class D remained relatively stable
